Cheerleading Camp

Every year, the University of Oregon cheerleaders run a camp for kids. At halftime of the women’s basketball game, the newly trained cheerleaders get to perform in front of everyone. Sophie saw it last year and wanted to do it, so this year GranMolly signed her up. It was last weekend and Sophie had a great time. I didn’t get any great videos of her performing because I stayed up in my seats, but here are a few pictures of her getting ready and of the view from our seats.

This next one is a picture of the Oregon cheerleader’s during the game, with Sophie’s group up in the stands in back (the bunch of yellow shirts). It’s the only good picture with a sense of scale of the court.

And here’s Sophie’s group performing. Sadly, she is waaay down on the other end, so I don’t think that it is possible to see her face. GranMolly got some pictures of this too though, so she may have better ones of the performance
