sophication

We are reading the “Little House” series and have now finished the second book, “Little House On The Prarie”. Sophie loves it, she love, love, loves it. We went to the fabric store and bought calico and sent it to Mima who made this wonderful dress for Sophie so she could have a dress, apron and bonnet just like Laura Ingalls had.

The bonnet is a little big, but she loves it. Mima also sent Sophie Mommy’s tin cup from when she was into Little House. We have lots of stories about Sophie’s intense interest, call up some time and we would be happy to entertain you with them.

Mommy still has her prarie dress that Mima made for her when she was little. If and when we have Sophie try it on, we will post pictures of that, too.
