Sophie got a big girl bike for Christmas! Having practiced on her tricycle for the entire summer, she took to a pink bike with training wheels without any trouble. Here she is looking very spiffy, all decked out in her new pink helmet.

So the five of us went to the park to get some more space for Sophie to ride. The five of us being, of course, Daddy, Mommy, Sophie, Lillie and Emma, who got a seat for the back of the bike so that she is never left behind.

It took Sophie about three minutes to start asking for a basket for her bike. So far Daddy has decreed that she must earn one through good behavior. Attention All Grandparents: I have to follow the rules, you, however, do not.
