Growing up
I’m constantly amazed at how grown up Sophie looks to me for only being 3 years old. I think I get confused sometimes and expect her to act older than she really is, and that makes it hard for both of us. She’s continuing to struggle with adapting to having a little sister who claims a lot of her parent’s attention, but we’re working hard at getting into routines that everyone is comfortable with.

Sometimes it’s very difficult to remember that she’s only three years old, but I try. In my defense, she is really tall and really eloquent and I’ve had her for as long as I can remember, so it’s expected that I would be a little slow to remember.
