sophication

Sophie said two very funny things last night that I thought would be amusing to you all:

We were reading a picture book about the American flag. On illistration in the book depicted astronauts on the moon, planting the American Flag.  We told her, “That’s true, there really is an American flag on the moon.” Immediately, and with much excitement, Sophie asked, “Can we look for it when it gets dark?” She was very disappointed to hear that no, we could not.

As we finished reading about the moon exploration, Sophie pointed to one of the astronauts on the page and giggled. “They have T.V.s on their heads!” Don’t worry– we explained it to her.
